Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) to accept Out-of-District Tax Payments from Taxpayers

This Tax Alert is issued to inform all concerned taxpayers that AABs have been advised to accept tax payments from taxpayers, notwithstanding the Revenue District Office’s (RDO’s) jurisdiction.
Pursuant to Bank Bulletin Nos. 2024-02 and 2024-05 and in accordance with Republic Act No. 11976, also known as the “Ease of Paying Taxes” Act, AABs are advised to accept tax payments from taxpayers, regardless of the jurisdiction of the Revenue District Office (RDO).
This reminder is issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) since certain AABs have been refusing to accept out-of-district tax payments from taxpayers.
