History
The P&A Foundation was established in 2003 to formally organize P&A’s corporate social responsibility activities. One of its first projects was the endowment of the Jose G. Araullo Distinguished Professorial Chair in Accounting and Auditing at San Beda College. Over the years, in collaboration with P&A For a Cause (PAUSE), P&A’s employee organization for social responsibility, the P&A Foundation has sponsored feeding programs for undernourished children, house-building and school-building activities, blood drives, and medical missions.

Since 2011, the P&A Scholarship Program has supported accountancy students at Bicol University, Far Eastern University, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, San Beda College, and the University of San Carlos.

The P&A Learning Series (PALS) brings industry practitioners to campuses around the country to share their experiences with accountancy students. PALS has reached students from Ateneo de Davao University in Davao; Bicol University in Legazpi; Holy Angel University in Angeles; Saint Louis University in Baguio; the University of San Carlos and the University of San Jose – Recoletos in Cebu; and the University of the Philippines – Visayas in Iloilo.
